The World Bank will grant Ukraine 150 million dollars in the framework of “Extension of Access to Financial Services Market” Project. Decision about loan extension was made on the meetings of the Board of Directors of the Bank on June 22. Funds will be provided through the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to the banks, which were selected for participation in the project, such as: “Kreditprombank”, “PrivatBank” and “Nadra” bank. The banks in their turn will use these funds for lending of private enterprises in rural area.
The first stage of the project will take 4 years whereupon in may be prolonged for the second stage.
