Maxim Romanik is only 4, but his short life is threatened by a terrible diagnosis «neuroblastoma» for half a year already. Instead of child joys of a sunny summer Maxim faced a challenge which is to heavy even for adults: treatment of oncology disease with all its sequences. Unfortunately, there no possibilities in Ukraine to care successfully a child with such a disease, so the hopes for saving brought Maxim’s parents to the hospital Parkwayface in Singapore.
Maxim has had a very complicated surgery on removal of blastema and takes a course of chemical therapy. But it is too early for the doctors to say that the child recovers. It is very important that we are not indifferent to the future of this child, nor our compatriots, public and governmental organizations, large companies, mass media. For instance, TV and radio company “Ukraine” got involved in the solution of the issue of treatment of Maxim Romanik and disclosed a sharp social problem in its TV project “Critical Point”.
