Retail Deposits Guarantee Fund

“Retail Deposits Guarantee Fund” (hereinafter, the Fund) is a specialized state institution which performs the functions of state governance in the area of retail deposits guarantees. Main purpose of the Fund is to ensure the protection of interests of retail clients, depositors of the banks. According to the Law of Ukraine “On Retail Deposits Guarantee Fund” #2740- ІІІ dated 20/09/2001, the Fund guarantees to each depositor of the participant (temporary participant) the compensation of funds on his/her deposits, including interest, in the amount of deposits at the day when the deposits become inaccessible but not more than UAH 150 000 on deposits in each of the participants”.
