Come Join the Fun

Who we are?

A muliti-denominational Youth & Adult Music & Drama Group.
Our current members range from 8 – 70, and their skills lie in everything from acting, singing and dancing to stage management, set/prop building, costume design to name but a few. As well as members from the local area, we also have numerous members from across Dublin and beyond, many of whom travel a considerable distance to take part. We are a close, friendly, group who believe in working hard in order to put on exceptional and memorable shows. We also have a lively social calendar, often holding nights out and generally having great fun. There’s so much going on at Now and Then Productions and we would love you to be part of it. We welcome new members of all ages and abilities and previous theatre experience is not essential.

What we do?

We stage musicals and plays with a religious theme in St Mary’s Priory Tallaght.  This brings together the talents of actors, singers, dancers, musicians, as well as set building, backstage crew, and costumes.
Everyone is encouraged to have fun, learn and develop skills, to put on a show to be proud of. It also helps develop confidence in those taking part.
We like to give back too! Last year we raised €2,200 for charitable organisations.

What shows have we put on?

Last year we produced Jesus Christ Superstar.
Past shows include, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Godspell, Song of Mark, The Witness, and others.
This year we’re producing A Gospel Line.

What’s involved in joining us?

We don’t charge membership fees to be part of the group. The only cost is time. This is a fundamental part of our ethos, all you need to do is contact us and say you are interested in joining in.

How can I get involved?

Casting for our show in 2015 is complete, however if you email us we will contact you for our 2016 show. We are however always on the lookout for those who are willing to help backstage, with stage and prop building, makeup, and costumes.
