Show Jumping for D3 and up is very challenging, with courses at the 3 foot level and higher.

The rally is a qualifier to determine who willl compete on the Maryland Region team at the U.S. Pony Club National competition which is held each year the first week of August.

There is a D show jumping rally held each year where pony clubbers with D ratings jump two courses not to exceed 2'9".
