Now and Then Productions
The Now and Then Production company is a multi-denominational youth and adult music and drama group. Each year we stage musicals and plays with a religious theme in St. Mary’s Priory in Tallaght. Our shows are typically staged just before Easter each year.
We bring together the talents of actors, singers, dancers, musicians, as well as set building, backstage crew, makeup, and costumes. Everyone is encouraged to have fun, learn canadian bookkeeping courses online and develop skills to put on a show to be proud of. A natural bi-product of our shows has always been to develop the confidence in those taking part.

An important part of our ethos is that it doesn’t cost anything to get involved. We don’t charge membership fees to be a part of the group, you only have to join in. Other than the show tickets prices we rely heavily on fundraising, sponsorship, advertisements in our programme & website, and not least on the generosity of the community.

A Little History
In or around 1991 a group of talented and dedicated people put on a stage musical in the Priory in Tallaght village. The show was deemed such a success that its organisers agreed to do another show. Thus the Now and Then was born.
Our shows ran annually from 1991 to 2004, when it was decided to take a break from our yearly musical shows. There was an absence of the Now and Then for nearly 8 years, until secret phone calls and meetings plotted the return in 2012. Since our reformation our first show was in 2013 (Joesph). The 2013 show was a success and left us in a strong position to carry on future shows.
